You will handle daily financial tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and management of purchases and expenses. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our company by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting tasks such as data entry, processing invoices, tracking purchases, and managing expenses.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, budgets, and cash flows.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes.
Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely execution.
Conduct detailed analyses of financial statements and reports to identify discrepancies or opportunities for cost savings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the sports industry.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of financial regulations specific to the sports industry.
