Under the supervision of the Country Head (Pakistan) and Manager HR & Administration, the Research Coordinator would be responsible for the following activities:

  • Formulate a unique business model for the company in collaboration with Strategic Planning Unit in relevance to Hajj People operations and its implementation strategies, future goals and objectives
  • Assess and evaluate the impacts of HAJJ PEOPLE interventions in all components of the HAJJ PEOPLE model
  • Formulate and regularly update Objectively Verifiable Indicators (OVIs) that measure quantitative and qualitative outputs and outcomes related to HAJJ PEOPLE activities.
  • Provide inputs to high level policy & planning concerned with the strategic long term goals of HAJJ PEOPLE
  • Oversee the development of descriptive and analytical research reports ensuring their compatibility with the overall research goals and objectives
  • Provide substantive research inputs in preparation and implementation of HAJJ PEOPLE modules, operating policies, systems and procedures.
  • Undertake development of different policy papers, concept documents, research essays, and proposals in relation to citizen participation and community empowerment.
  • Provide substantive inputs to the development of research methodologies, questionnaires, periodic action plans and guidelines to facilitate the working of field operations teams of HAJJ PEOPLE.
  • Act as HAJJ PEOPLE focal point for research, statistical analysis and periodic reviews and undertake independent assignments in this capacity.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure coordination of activities and free flow of information to and from the research team.
  • Manage the research team as to ensure quality control, equal distribution of assignments and their timely completion.
  • Prepare the research team inputs for the quarterly and annual progress reports.
  • Represent the research team in staff meetings
  • Undertake any special work assigned by Chief Executive Officer & Country Head

Skills

• Must have hands-on experience on latest Research tools and applications
• The candidate should be able to communicate, write and read in English and capable of performing as an effective team member.
• The candidate will also possess skills in management, team building, and problem solving techniques with a strong research aptitude.
• High quality professional excellence and capable to perform as an effective team member, possessing skills in facilitation, presentation and writing of reports.
• Specialised knowledge that would be advantageous to the candidate in performance of his/her services.
