Summary:
Responsible for providing core accounting support to the company. The candidate should be able to handle his or her activities independently and responsibly. This position report to the CFO of the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily recording of all transactions in accounting system
- Managing and updating company’s Peachtree accounting system
- Keeping track of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Ensuring company dues are paid on time
- Cash management and handling of petty cash
- Monthly payroll processing
- Periodic filing of GST and income tax returns
- Tagging and tracking inventory
- Issuing purchase orders, debit/credit notes, invoices to customers and suppliers
- Dealing with banks on a daily basis, undertaking periodic reconciliations with banks
- Preparing monthly reports for management
