- Responsible to lead development, deployment and operational support of open source e-Learning systems as per business requirements.
- Responsible to lead, develop & deploy billing & support systems.
- Responsible for integration to 3rd party systems like SMS Gateway, Payment Gateway, SIP/TDM call servers etc.
- System Requirement Specifications, High Level Design & Architecture.
- Ensuring best practices and standards being followed in high level design & architecture
- Responsible for source code repositories, hosting, versioning.
- Manage the team to optimally use their skill set.
- Create test plans and coordinate with testing team to conduct tests, debug and resolve issues as the earliest.
- Fault, Configuration & Performance Management.
- Quality Assurance

- Prior experience of using and development with open source communities.
Skills
Hands on experience with CMSs like Drupal, WordPress or Joomla.
Web Services Development experience, SOAP, RESTful, JSR etc
Working knowledge of Web & Application Servers like Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, GlassFish
Should be familiar with architecture and frameworks like SOA, MVC, XML etc.
Hands on experience of integration with payment & sms gateways.
Experience in deploying and developing extensions to open-source systems.
Motivated and a team player with good logic and understanding
Ability to easily and quickly learn and adapt new technologies
Ability to easily and quickly read and modify existing code
Working knowledge of Flex and Flash Media Server is preferred.
Working knowledge of SIP/TDM call servers like Asterisk is preferred.
Working knowledge of Billing and Operational Support systems is preferred.
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies would be a plus.
